Direct selling provides a client with an opportunity to study the product in details, to test it and form his/her own opinion about it in a convenient place and in a convenient time. All products are delivered directly to consumer. Goods turnover of these enterprises makes € 8.9 billion, and а number of people cooperating with direct selling companies amounts to 4.5 million (source: FEDSA, July 2003). Companies cooperating in direct selling area are governed by the principle of providing consumers with goods and services of the highest quality. WFDSA, FEDSA and national associations see to the correspondence of high standards in direct selling, demanding from their members to follow the code of professional ethics that regulates relations with consumers.
